You know that dream that you've always had, but always thought it was so far out of reach? I have always dreamed of owning my own business and selling "cute stuff". You know what I'm talking about, anything with polka dots on it and everything monogrammed or personalized, but with a special little spin on things that makes it different from your average "cute shop" that we already have so many of. I've even taken Business Enterprise classes to teach me the basics of running a business, but then when I think of it becoming a reality I get a little scared and nervous...for whatever reason I do not know. I guess its the fear of the unknown and the fear that I will not be able to make my customers happy. Because when it comes to making sure customers like what they have gotten I'm a little OCD about it.
I've been monogramming and appliqueing out of my home and by word of mouth for almost a year now and have had many friends suggest I go online to furthur my business options. I'm still a little reluctant and after several months of debate I've decided to try it the blog way so we'll see how it goes. I figure that if for no other reason it will be a way I can keep up to date pictures of what I've been working on.
